I am a boxer rider of many years but I have just aquired a 1985 2 valve K100RT. I've
had a bit of fetling to do (new plugs, was fitted with incorrect grade,
choke lever replaced, throttle switch reset it was holding off the
throttle stop and causing a minimum tick over of 1300, reset idle speed.
reset choke stages and varios tidy ups) and it now seams to run pretty
well but does take a bit of getting used to all those revs.
HOWEVER I
am a little dubious about the sound I have a constant whistle, rev
related, like a turbine, if it were turbo charged I would say that was
it is. Sounds a bit like a Class47 Diesel. Is this normal?
hope it is !!!!! can any one help. The Whistler 652573
