Hi All,

My name is Bryce, I have recently purchased a 86 K100 RT with 67,000 k's.

The bike was my Grandfathers & up until recently he still rode it, a good effort for a gentleman in his 80's. He has just purchased a little scooter to get him to the golf club and back as the K100 getting too heavy to pull onto the center stand.

I have been an onlooker for a while now & loving the info that can be found on the site.

Cheers

Bryce

Thanks for Welcome guy's, Yeah I often see a few K's here on the coast.

My plans for the K are still up in the air a bit, it will most likely be a cafe/scrambler project but still keeping the comfortable K ride. I will mostly just ride the bike to work & run around the coast.

Prob something like the below image if it works Smile(Im only new around here haha)

Welcome Bryce , as you can see it's a bit of a Knuthaus here, but very friendly.
theres a chance for developing a Central Coast chapter , just as there is other regions. with all those K's buzzing around down there.

Hi Bryce, welcome aboard. I've only been on here a few months and members have been great - both online and those that I have been lucky enough to meet in person. I'm just up in the Hunter a bit so look forward to catching up when we can.

Cheers

Welcome, have fun with what you are doing and ignore the negative comments.

We all like a K to stay close to original, but if you change it to whatever you want, if you do a good job, wether we hate it or not, the effort will be appreciated.
We have seen lots of conversions, some good some bad. There will always be a negative comment, but do your best. And if that fails, do as I did. Paint it black and call it naked.

So is this bike running atm?
Be nice to meet up and go for a ride. Maybe you will come to like the standard finish. If not, at least you get to meet a few of us.
BTW, I have a dual headlight and mounts. Fork mounted indicators for sale.

Just saying.

Not that my naked conversion ever went in the wrong direction.

rossko, the bike is currently running and regoed, she runs great.

Will be good to catch up, I doubt that I will be liking the look of the stock rt anytime soon, not my cup of tea really.

My thinking is that how can you go wrong with a k100 for reliability and comfort.
