Also from Arkansas . . .

I am on my second K-bike but want to take a different approach with this one.

My K-75S was a beauty, near perfect and with plenty of power for my modest riding style.  It was almost stock when I bought it and stayed that way when sold.

However, I want to trim my newly-acquired '93 K-1100LT of every bit of superfluous weight.

I want to minimize fabrication as much as possible and my mechanical/electrical skills are modest, at best.

I have designed the seat replacement, but am a bit stumped at the front?

1.     Does someone make a bracket to mount the factory instrument cluster so that I can discard the bulky existing cluster/fairing mount?

I had a link (now lost) to a snazzy German-made replacement gauge cluster, but for the time being, the existing instrumentation is fine.

2.     Are there front/rear fenders (preferably aluminum) that will mount with the factory bosses or with a simple bracket?

3.     Does anyone have any other tips or "gotcha's" about this effort?

Regards,

Jay H

A K1100RS mounting setup will bolt right up to the upper fork tree.

I never even thought of looking within the "family"!  Doh!

Thanks.

Now, I just have to find one (assembly)?

However, your list shows "sold" for the gizmo you say I need?

Let me know.
