Myself and Trapper are trying to get all the K1's together. We plan to meet up for a photo-shoot to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the K1.

Location

Saturday the 11th of October 2014. Annual Veteran, Vintage and Classic Motorcycle. Autojumble, Show and Sale. at Leopardstown Race Course

All welcome.

Show is open from 10 AM to 4 PM.

My suggestion is to meet in the Car park. How about 11 AM ?

K1 is now back on the road after some work.

It is still missing a few bits but they will be back on for Leopardstown.

I'm going to have to skip this one. Work hours mean I don't get home until about 00.45, bed about 01.30-02.00 and lazy sod here doesn't fancy the idea of getting up again only six hours later...

So who is going Saturday?

At the moment I am sitting at home, torrential rain outside, thunderstorm in full flow, wondering when the power will go off as it does due to my exposed rural location but when I checked the weather map Saturday looks good.

I know Corkboy decided to go to some sunny foreign place Faroff so he isn't going.

Comberjohn going....plus Ringfad and Trapper.

Will see how things work out my end as I would love the trip and a chance to see some faces.

Not sure I will make it. Work is taking me to Limerick Friday and have early morning meetings in Dublin on Wednesday which probably mean overnight Tuesday due to the Newland's Cross chaos. Will see how it works out.

So we made it and once again, thanks to Comberjohn, the weather was fantastic.

Cluan Si, Myself, Trapper, Nicky and Comberjohn all appeared during the day.

We managed to get 3 K1's together.

Hi all,
It was a great venue and an even greater day weather-wise. And I don't have to clean my bike;-)) This is the 3rd K1 Treffen that I know of in Ireland and hope that next year
will beat the standing record of 7 K1s Very Happy

Oooops sorry I have to correct myself. The first Treffen consisted of 3 K1s, the Second had 6 K1s and today had 3. So lets hope for 7 next year Very Happy

And he does it again!
Great day out at the show in Leopardstown today.
Started out coolish(5°c) but the sun soon came out and was fine until Dundalk when the fog came down along with the temperature.
Sun was back by the time I got there and it was a lovely day for mid October. Driving back up the motorway it was 16°c. Amazing!
It was a good show and great to get a chat with the guys.
One or two were considering tea and scones at Craggy Island next weekend. Let's see some commitment.

Yes a great day was had on Saturday and now able to post pictures again (due to forum issues)

Yes, Sorry about that - I should have explained it to the wider audience. I always wanted to attend one of the German K1 group Treffens and did so back in 2010 held in Zurich.
