Hi,

I am building my cafe racer and the original speedo has to go.
I will buy BEP 3.0, and my question is what is the cheapest and easiest speedo to fit and works also? My bike 1985.
I am not so electrical person so plugin bep and clear / simple instructions to gauge is needed.

Don't worry about that; you'll be an electrical person by the time you finish wiring that thing. Smile Have you purchased and learned how to use a multimeter yet? That is a motorcycle builder's friend.

The Acewell 2853 is not the cheapest but there is possibly more written here about its installation with the BEP than most of the other speedos. The cheapest speedos may not have low oil pressure warning lights. You should avoid them, so read carefully about what is being offered with your intended purchase.

I found out that if I order this Acewell 2853 ja Bep from acewell.de, they will do the wiring ready to plug it on. Mayby I will use this.

Perhaps you should review some of the experiences of others found at this link.
