Any North American members here that have ordered from Moto-bins in England?
Their prices are fantastic but I'm afraid the shipping and import costs are going to add up quickly.
Moto-bins says they can't give an accurate 'to the door' price.
Anyone with experience with these guys?
Thanks,
Chris

I get bits from them to Sydney Australia... small pack like water pump, master cylinder kits etc. are about 8 English pounds.

I have no problems with this as I usually save up to 50% on the local price.

BTW thank you for explaining the NA thing... had me confused for bit Smile

Motobins & Motoworks (who unfortunately don't ship to NA) are the two suppliers I use most frequently. Like Ned, I save heaps over the prices charged here (the rough end of a pineapple comes to mind) and if ordering enough spares to whack on the shelf for a later date the shipping costs are reasonable. My most recent 'Bins order was four oil filters, two fuel filters, a water pump seal kit, new-type impeller, a timing chain kit, and miscellaneous gaskets and seals, the postage was under 40 pounds to OZ and it arrived in six days flat!

TWB, on their shipping page they say they ship to NA.?

Ned, one of my pet peeves is abbreviations that aren't extended at least once in an article.
I will never be able to Twitter as I haven't a clue what they are talking about. It took me weeks to figure out LOL.

I am crap at names and acronyms. I can't remember ever hearing of NA, so I though that it must be a local thing.

I do wonder why Canadians call them selves NA?.. maybe I've missed the point somewhere along the way Smile

Another one was "lotus (something)" to describe Vancouver ... my take was that it was an expression to favorably describe the city/climate, no idea which Smile

We here describe OZ or any part of OZ as "God's own". I think that after looking at TWB's pics, it is somewhat justifiable.

North America = NA, includes Canada and the USA. Lotus 'something' was my reference to Vancouver Canada, LotusLand, from the classic story The Odyssey...

Motobins ship to N.A., Motorworks do not, unless they've recently changed that stated policy which they apologised for on their site.

N.A. also includes Mexico, but the donkey only remembers the horse with fondness, he rarely remembers the burro. scratch
