Hi, Anyone come up with a tool to pull the brake pad setting pins? The two longer pins on the right.:brake squeal - Tool for Brake pad setting pin removal Brake_10

In the past I've driven out the one at the non-looped end of the spring with a punch. But was wondering if there's a tool that could pull the pin out as it obviously has a place to grasp it.
best regards J.Jefferies

I just use a small drift. However you could modify a pair of pliers or vice grips with a bit of grinding.
Regards Martin.

They do have a special tool https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/brake-caliper-pin-bolt-remover-otc-7302-2 But I'll stick to the drift.
Regards Martin.

The forked side can be used to remove ticks, should the occasion arise.

Hmm, wonder how difficult it would be to make one? Oooh, a new project.

I'm with Martin as a punch man. Cheap and you can't lose them as any old bit of round steel bar will do! Very Happy
