Hello folks.



I need to replace the rubbers that go on the drivers/rider foot rests on my 1984 K100RT, as they are looking a bit tatty.

cant seem to find any - but do any of you guys know from what other BMW models will work or are the same ie K1200 RS series ? just the rubber inserts as it looks like that it does come away from the foot peg itself.

I will hunt around for some rubbers, failing that will place an order with Motobins , bite the bullet , wait 2 months and hope that the stuff doent get stolen in the post to South Africa!

although to our credit here- we do not have strict or difficult traffic law enforcement , like I have heard OZ has. we literally do what we want on the roads!

I must say thanks to you guys all for your help thus far, I have learnt a lot in the last few weeks and although I have yet to do some seriuos riding on the bike I am enjoying it.

got some news ones, I chickened out and got through BMW motorrhad. were not too bad money wise- worked out to be R147.94 ( about 12pounds UK ) for the set.

went on EASY! it was easiest job so far!

nice result .....maybe a test case should be tried .. order something not so ."required right now" type and see what happens huh ?

for us, the finacial diference is quite noticeable ...even though i love to support our local bmw distributor ...and call in regualarly to see whats "going on "...
