I'm planning on purchasing a new windshield for my 85 K100rt thru Twisted Throttle. Its made by MRA Vario, They list 2 windshields: one for bikes with an upper instrument panel (holds light and cigarette lighter) and one without. I have seen these upper instrument panels that are build into the windshield cross support. I have the support and wish to keep it as its handy for the camera mount. Would this support and/or the instrument panel be considered the same when it comes to ordering the windshield?

I think but not 100% sure that either screen will fit without the extra instrument panel but if the panel is there the screen needs to have a bubble like the original LT screen.
I recall someone (where I can't find) saying that they bought a panel and the RT screen won't fit over it.

If the screen is predrilled, it`s different RT vs. LT.
