I have no idea. Will this fit my 86 K100RT?

K1100LT SE Seat

It looks a lot more comfortable than my existing bench.
I am guessing its a yes as the tail piece I have my eye on is from the same bike.

That looks comfy for sure. I'm sure you've noticed the difference in the tail pieces on early models where the handle is part of the seat. That seat needs the rear piece with the handles in the bodywork.

This seat will fit on a k100 rt, but you may have to replace the hinges. I am not on my computer now and don't have access to the ETK. I fitted the same one on my 1986 K75. It's a lot more comfortable than the original BMW stud.
I have tried the comfort seat, a Corbin and now I am perfectly happy with a Russell seat (Ugly but comfy).

At $132 and not ended it's getting a bit rich for me. I am getting John Morehouse to make one and his seats are better than a Corbin.
