I am flying to qld to get a bike. Arriving at Ormeau about 3ish.
Meeting Rick G at Ormeau who is going to take me back to his place at Stanthorpe.
Also hopefully meeting 73MOH who offered to ride me down from Beenleigh to get the bike at Ormeau.
Tackler is keen to meet up and wants to ride down to Ormeau also.

As far as I know only Rick and myself will be returning to Stanthorpe.

Meanwhile, Saxon7 "Anyone wanting to head north can meet us at the last servo at Berowra before the Old Rd at 8am on Sunday 27th"
"On the Sunday I'll be leaving Sydney and heading back up the hill with Bella. Mr Klompy is thinking about coming along for the ride as well. Anyone else who is interested is more than welcome to ride along as well. We can go to Guyra via Thunderbolts Way, grab a bite at Gloucester, partake of very ordinary food at the Guyra Lamb and Tattie Fest in the evening, drink some neck oils and people can stay over at my place"

He is meeting Mr Klomy at Berowra.
GroverK is meeting them at Heatherbrae Maccas at about 10am.
They are all heading to Guyra.
Monday, Rick and myself are heading to Guyra, saying hello, patting the dog and Mr Klompy, GroverK and myself are heading back to Sydney. Route to be determined.

All clear?

I won't be patting Mr Klompy. Only the dog.

Rossco... Once you've picked up the bike........ My place is a short test ride away,(13km)and in the right direction for S'thorpe....... where you can have access to tools/garage to do checks/adjustments as required (hopefully not required)....
I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that I won't get the call to go to work.....

All clear?

As I'm joining the northbound traffic through Gloucester , I'd be happy with a southbounder returning down the New England via Singleton.
for a change of scenery. but am open to suggestions, long as I'm home in time to tuck Teddy in....

New England it is groverK

Down through Tamworth n stuff. Holiday traffic should be fun, but we can just duck and weave.
Mr K and rossco then from singo through putty and home.

Just need to watch the cameras on poles, about six south of Armidale. and the ones with two legs as well.
As for the holiday traffic , could be a few heading home after school hols and Aussie Day.
I'll be flying the flag on the old boy, on the weekend.
Access to F3 via Hexham will be bottlenecked back to Raymond Terrace mid monday arvo thru to about 8.00ish.

The way this is growing we might not be home till March.

So are you riding down and then home or staying to head to Seans?

I know it is all about the ride and not about the bike, but you guys are just bustin to see this Basic/2 arent you and you are using the ride as an excuse to swoon and hover.

We will be leaving Ormeau around 4.00pm at the earliest, it will be a darn site closer to 6.00pm and I will be stopping for a maccas at Warwick if it is around that time.
There is gonna be cops everywhere like ants at a picnic so I won't be travelling very fast. There is likely to be bumper to bumper traffic from Cunninghams Gap all the way to Brisbane and there will be IDIOTS trying to overtake to get home 3 seconds earlier so I'm gonna be riding real carefully.

hmmm ...maybe a camp overnight could be an option ...at stanthorpe ? if thats cocher rick (tent etc will be comming along in case ) good practice for karuah river ))

He'll be like a child opening b'day pressies in front of all his mates, grinning ear to ear , better charge up them cameras it's going to be a long weekend.
It'll be difficult constraining ourselves from looking at his new ride, trying to play it all down, but we'll try our best.
I bet you Col will be chafing at the bit to see it when you get home.

I am always practicing...thats why I prefer to be at the back of the pack in order to get the most interesting shots.....weather here at the moment is far better than "weatherzone " would lead us to believe...hoping it continues this way so your bike does not get wet Rossco...teehee...or for that matter mine as well...although the camera is far more water proof than I.

I agree RT. Last week...bush fires, now floods and storms. We were ordered twice last week to evacuate because of a fierce fire heading towards us at a very fast rate. Lucky there were two helicopters and a fixed wing aircraft at the airport getting ready for another job.
It wasn't a problem at the time as we were not home and knew nothing about it until we got back home today.

Halo spoke to Rossco, think they are stuck somewhere for a couple of days with floods all around, and get this, NO BEER.
That is cruel.

Yep the message I got via Grover that "Rossco had taken up foreign citizenship and that he (grover) would be coming back from Guyra solo"

Rossco said "in a hotel room for a few days"......apparently the rain is coming south...it has not let up here as it is....

Grover left at lunchtime for the long ride home in the wet. We arrived here late yesterday safe and sound after a very wet ride...went through 4 pairs of gloves....Bella not the happiest camper I've ever seen. Since getting home I've had no internet until now and phone coverage has been sporadic at best so sorry about not reporting in earlier.

Horses mouth time. It rained. Then it didn't stop and it rained again. Glad Charlie made it home.motel in boonah.
We arrived to find the exit flooded. Then they said the way we came in was flooded. Pins shit up shop. Spell check. Pubs shut up shop. Same thing. Second night in a motel room with Rick. Shoot me now. He has just started on the rum. Yay.
Um. Got a call from the bike seller to see if we are ok. Train of thought gone now. Hopefully roads open tomorrow. Heading North to go south. Hopefully Sean has kept that dry spot on the front lawn for me. Night all. Fun in boonah is coming to an end.
