If anybody is interested in getting a new fan, here is a way how to mount.

The plan and pictures are from a other forum.

You will need a laser cutting service, if you make 10 pieces, it will not be more than 5€ a piece, or less.

You will find the SPAL fan on eBay or somewhere else.

Who needs a template or laser cut? All you need is two scraps of aluminum.

Yeah, seams to work, leasy going, looks interesting Duck :-)
I prefer spending 4€ for a laser cut stainless steal,
good old over engineering!
It will last longer then the rest of the bike and looks better.
The difference between US and German production :-)
The other 9 are birthday presents for free.

I even did this

Following the instructions on another forum I just took the OEM fan out of the bracket, cut the bracket in half on the horizontal, and pop riveted it to the Spal frame.  About 5 minutes with a round file had the top hole reshaped to line up with the hole in the radiator and I reinstalled everything.  Total time to hack the frame and put the Spal in it was about a half hour, and another 10 minutes to solder the electrical connections.
