Just get a new one from your BMW dealer. They're not too expensive. Fitting is fairly easy, depending on if you have a lift or remove the rear wheel. You should not need to remove the exhaust on your bike. The boot is fitted with the jubilee clip. If you pull in the clutch and block de lever arm at the rear (put something between the exhaust and the arm), remove the cable end and then release the arm you should he free access to the boot. See then if the clutch lever is working freely as the bearings sometimes go. On the refers adjust your clutch as per instructions.
