My names Craig.  I've got an 85 k100 that I'm building.  I'll start a thread to document the build.   I really look forward to finishing  this project as it's for my girlfriend.   Anyway,  nice to meet y'all.

Hi Craig welcome to the forum. Sounds like your girlfriend is some lucky girl. What sort of bike do you ride?

Hi Craig and welcome to the forum. You will soon see we are all over but one thing in common. Anything you need to know, just ask. Some of us meet up from time to time and everyone is really helpful. You do realise the K must have a mate, like busses they like to be in twos and threes.

Your girlfriend really believes the K is for her? Any more like her over there?

Keep us posted with a few photos and good luck with the project.

Craig, you might get the impression the guys from Australia are every where. They are. The forum would not be the same without them. A few of us are aiming to meet TacKler when he is over in Europe in May....88KE and myself booked a ferry trip to France.....We may sup beer sitting in the same chair Crazy Frog sat in last year.....

Hi Rick,
I am probably more the lucky one in this relationship lol.
I don't have a running bike at the moment.  My last bike (sold A year and a half ago) was a 2007 Suzuki SV650 that had full GSXR suspension, Brakes and wheels that I built for track days.  I am a machinist by trade and enjoy making my own parts.  I want to build an R bike after this one is done so we can both cruise.  My Dad has been riding BMW's since I was a little one and restores them now that he has retired.  I've been around them all my life and been to many Rallies on the back of them.

It is for her!  lol  Hey guys 652573
I am building this bike two up so we can ride together while I am putting another one together.
And for everyone else's sake I hope there are more like her out there.  She is pretty sweet!  She raced motocross for years and knows how to load a bike in a truck!!! lol

My wife and I have been riding together for 40 years now and she has had the K75 for 7 years and loves it.

You need to get over here for our meet up in May. Just to make it easy you can fly to Paris, its 3 hours on TGV [train] to Bordeaux or you can fly that leg too. Trip of a lifetime. Bikerboy's good lady also has her own bike and rides out. Its a nice thing to have someone who goes out, either pillion or her own bike. Its nice that you have it so enjoy it.

You answered the question too.....'....while I am putting another one together'.
