I don't know exactly what these are called or know the part numbers for them but there is a left and a right .The photo shows the part. Does any one have a spare set or know where I can get them ? Thanks, Wanted . Rubber seals? for the bottom of the fairing Img_2310

Motobins have them in stock, they're referred to as 'fairing bellows'.

Oh, by the way, they are not handed, right and left are identical.

Here in Oz, I refer to them as 'those things that help keep too much heat behind the fairing'.
One of my Ks has air scoops mounted to the back of those holes to direct more air in.

People in other climates may have a different view of what's desirable, though.  Very Happy

I have those bellows on my K.....88 has the scoops on his........

My leg panels on the LT have vents......on the RT they are solid, no vents.

These are great, but you are better to leave the bottom of the fairing open. With the scoop, you will more air flowing in the fairing. In stead of spending money for these parts, you would be better to invest on forks gaiters.

Thanks for all the input .So what I'm getting is that I'd be better off letting air flow thru there.I was thinking they kept out water when riding in bad weather so if they aren't all that necessary then I think Gaiters are a better idea and a much cheaper solution to the problem . I'm having fun with this bike.I wish that big O ring I ordered would get here so I could put the guts back in the gas tank and fire this mother.Now that I'm wrenching I want to make her run .

Though I don't ride in as much bad weather as our Irish and British Kolleagues, water coming in through those holes isn't an issue for me. At highway speeds, the fairing on the RT/LT minimises water issues. Even with those holes open, I don't notice water entry.
At lower speeds, what's coming from above dominates anyway.

Water maybe not.... but a bee up through them into your face is a different matter.

I use the bellows and fork gaitors. The bellows keep the winter salt and muck out of the fairing and the gaitors prevent the fork tubes from becoming scored. roundel

Both are useful additions in this part of the world.
