Hi 

Made an attempt yesterday to install the oil/water pump.
All was going well unti I tried to replace the water coolant o ring. The replacement part was purchased from Motobins.
I had difficulties trying to install the o ring. I had to strech it slightly to get it into the grove but when I let go, it wouldn't stay in position?
What should I do?
Is there something I've missed?

Being a new O-ring, it's a tad smaller and does cause grief. You could try warming it in hot water or with a hair drier to make it a little more pliable. It's going to take finesse to get it to stay in place while fitting the pump.

Hi there, be aware that some o rings will shrink when heated with a hair dryer or heat gun.

Can you stretch it a bit over a slightly larger bit (pill bottle or similar). Leave overnight and then quickly fit?
