Howdy y'all,

i'm living life and loving it down here in the heart o' dixie--that would be down south in the USA, huntsville, alabama. 

Been riding, racing, and wrenching on lots of bikes since the '80s, but it seems that the K-bikes are my overall choice for commuting and weekend rides. 

i'm partial to single-sided swing arm bikes (bmw, ducati, honda) and have a garage full of them in various state of repair, and this forum looks like a good place for troubleshooting and info to get em running and keep it that way... kenny

He passed up this way in the last couple of days judging by the rainstorms in Europe. All happening when his trip was supposed to be, s'pose to make him feel at home.

Yourself and 88 need to get those Ks together now, with Reg in there for good measure. Nice to see three red K1100 together......

Hey there Olaf. A very enjoyable long trip mate. Wintertime here, the rain is not surprising but I have been thinking of rosskko whenever I see a rain cloud approaching. I have to admit I don't mind the rain at all. However, I've been getting down into the higher latitudes thru SA and VIC so it's also been quite cold. I'm heading North now so looking forward to some warmer climes. Hoping to be in QLD towards the end of next week and I'll shed my thermals and wet weather gear for something lighter.
Three red K1100 together would be a sight indeed which Rossko would have enjoyed greatly. He and I were to meet up this week to "compare notes" as he put it.
