I went down this morning and came home with a few items.

If anyone called and didnt get answered etc well Rob wasnt expecting the response and wasn't there most of the week.

Anyway he will be at the shop every Saturday in August from 9-3, everything(new and used) is 50% off or more.

Re K stuff; there is lots to pick through, black and silver recon K gearboxes, recon K75 rear drive, 2nd hand untouched also, 4 x K75 engines and other 4 cyl (I picked up a K1200 for future use) half a dozen K100 tanks, 1 K75 tank. Bodywork from most models, seats, some panniers (spotted a nice set of black city cases). New disks for 8v and 16v. A brand new, still wrapped up upper fairing for a K100RS in Sonder colours.

Bikes: there is a K1200LT with non-functioning ABS but good otherwise for sale, a K1100LT (<100k) good condition, dark grey not ex-police with radio, luggage etc for around 3500.

I'll be back there on 20/8, if I need to pickup anything for anybody for safe keeping you do the deal and tell Rob that Al Pennykid will collect it.

Hello all I also went to Motohansa where i met up with Al and Marie and other BMW K and R locals....picked up some K specific stuff and saw so much more at a real closing down sale....
There are a large number of brand new never used parts one of which impressed me a K1100 brand new speedo in its box, side covers in primer never used for K100.
Rob wants to empty the place over the next 6 weeks and the opportunity is there for new discs, clutch, recon gearbox all sorts of things that will have your k live for ever.

I also do have some RossKKo stuff left if you need as per pictures in previous posts....if you want something ask me you may be surprised.

Went out for another look this morning. Bumped into Klompy and a little while later Al and Maree showed.
Picked up a few bits 'n bobs including a brand new seat for Sweet Thing and a spare headlight.

Pickings are gettin' a little slim now for K parts but a few things I noticed he had were....
 - A few tanks including for K75. He's wanting top dollar for those but he's very negotiable.
 - Gearbox selector forks and selector drums.
 - A couple of recond. gear boxes.
 - Assortment of panniers.
 - Some fairing bits.

Went back to Motohansa again yesterday (Sat) to pick up a couple of specific items but shock/horror/gasp!!! there was a tip truck parked in the workshop and everything had been tossed in. As I arrived a few K100 and K75 motors were being forklifted into the truck. See pic below. The truck was then pretty much filled with wheels.
I had a bit of a scrounge around and managed to find a few things. Some side covers, a harness with relays and controllers attached, blinkers, a tail piece with K100 badge attached, new clutch cable plus some bits and bobs. He pretty much gave those away. Picked up a reconditioned GB for a song. He's still got a lot of new stock for the later models. Just call Rob for more info, but as far as the second hand K-Parts goes, it's all gone.

Yes... those are K motors in there.

Steve. I found those 2 plastic bits you were after. I'll post them down to you.

 

Someday, 30-40 years from now, someone is going to need one of those motors.

There was nothing he could do in the end.  He has to move out and couldnt find anyone that wanted to take t all off his hands.  I was offered an engine for free but have no more space myself.  At least I got the 1200 engine out of there.
