Just done 1750 miles touring scotland and the old girl never missed a beat, you gotta love these bikes, she needs two new tyres though and because the front one was nearly bald i had to cut the journey short.

What would you call your cruising speed? I found 80 miles an hour a good speed on the motorways but wondered what others have as there cruising speed.

Going to fit two new Avon roadriders, i seen somewhere there ok and a good price too.

One of my favourite pics from the tour.

it was friday morning at Kinlochleven near fort william about 8.30 in the morning.
lol, the midges, i camped the first night, was frozen, got attacked and smothered in the morning by the midges and never camped again.

I used the hostels and i must say there great, proper bed and kitchens to cook everything all for £14-£16 per night, heaven, and no midges.

You couldn't pass this comment Bobbie!

Very nice picture.

My cruising speed on the highway is about 75/80mph too. The bike seems to be happy at this speed.
