Does anybody know what other vehicles used the regulator out of a 33 amp alternator. The  Bosch part number I believe is 1 197 311 890. One post states out of a 60's Volvo but not specific on the model. If I can find out more information on what vehicles they were use on it would make chasing up one a lot easier.  Voltage regulator cross vehicle reference 1992 K75s Idunno

I think that you will find that it is a standard Bosch item as fitted to many Bosch alternators on many German cars of that time. There will probably be a few different part numbers that are the same item.

Thanks fellas I will try a few auto electricians this afternoon. Hopefully supplying the correct part no will get me some cooperation. These days it seems  unless you serve things to most places on a silver platter they show little interest in helping. I'm hoping to find one locally and not have to order from overseas.
