My exhaust valves are tight, so I plan to replace the shims. Any tips on where to order these online? Or should I do it through a BMW dealership?

Also: I plan to remove them tomorrow to measure with calipers - I'm guessing I just put the valve cover back on so oil doesn't drip out while I wait for them to ship right? I'm doing an oil change too - should I drain the oil while I'm waiting? (First time doing this)

BMW or the early Kawasaki Z900 and Z1300 had the same shims. I seem to recall that the BMW ones are cheaper now days.
