I had a very heated discussion with a K owner about oil levels.

Insisted you had to put in 3200 no matter what, I insisted you are supposed put in the oil until the glass told you the level and not to go above the maximum, even if it didn't take all of the 3200.

That post with the photo is a very informative one!

Hello Olaf!

My oil change is without measuring.
I change the oil and filter.
Put a new filter full of new oil and fill up until it’s in the middle of the side glass, than start the machine and wait for 30min and add some more.
