Dependant on your Tools and Talent. Start with pad removed apply pressure and gentile use of a hammer on the casing of piston in question .

Put the pads in backwards with the caliper off, friction material facing the pistons and use a blade screwdriver between the backing plates to lever the pistons back. Screwdriver against the pistons can break them....

Are the pistons retracted or extended? Is the caliper still mounted?

I got a pack of the shims that carpenters use to install windows and doors. With the caliper off and the pads installed I put two shims in the gap pointing in opposite directions. By tapping the end of one of the shims a force is applied evenly across the face of the brake pads to push them apart and the pistons into the caliper.

The brakes including the master cylinder have been removed fully connected in one piece. The pistons are positioned at the normal brake disc thickness.
So loosen the pistons first by moving the pistons back in further, ok thanks again guys

My experience has been that simply moving the pistons in and out doesn't help long-term. Certainly useful to push the pistons back to get the calipers off the bike but, after that, whatever was causing them to bind in the first place will come back.
If, after manipulation, the pistons can't be pushed back by hand (thumb) pressure then it's calipers apart. If you're lucky you'll get away with a set of seals. In salt plagued Britain, the pistons are likely corroded and on truly neglected ones, like mine, the caliper might be corroded beyond repair too.
A woodworking G-clamp can be used to press the pistons in.
