Hello All

I have recently purchase a 1985 BMW K100 in fair condition, with the aid of my son we are in the process of stripping and refurbishing the motorcycle to its former glory, I am hoping this forum will give us a better chance of success.
At present we are repairing the speedo cluster odometer, we have sourced and received replacement gears from Italy and are pondering the removal of the old brass insert of the 12 tooth gear without causing damage to the shaft, a lot of plastic in here.
Presently have a fully restored BMW HP2 (done by a local expert) and a 2009 BMW GS1200 Adventure.

Regards
Rohan Kohler

Welkom Rohan,

Many years ago a mate and I had an incident returning to Plett from Cango Caves where he nearly crashed his Suzuki at night along the coast road.  Someone had placed rocks on the road and we narrowly avoided any major damage.

A lovely part of the world you live in, apart from the obvious.

Enjoy the K  Cool
