Looking at getting an adjustable timing light so I can get the timing dialed back in once everything goes back in the engine. Anyone have experience with the harbor freight light?

What is suppose to mount in these? Seems like an ideal place to mount the headlight relays if they are open...

only did it yesterday og ....hang on ill go take one now

three relays used ...duplication for headlight ....and new one for accessory lamps ,,,mounted under fairing about below the horn vent holes

i really should use a bit more cable management on this ....but now i have 2 x nice big juicy 3mm copper diameter cable feeding the relays ... fuse protection before it leaves the relaybox ... the accesory lamps come on only when the parkers are switched on ...with an operate switch on/off in the dash rubber section

I buy these sockets for Bosh relays at Addison electronic for only $1.50 and they make a big difference for cable management. One of the nice feature is that they clip together and you can make a 'strip' of sockets if you need more than one.
Having a socket makes it easier when you need to replace the relay and prevents mixing up wires during the swap.



For all my extra wiring and relays, I don't use fuses but circuit breakers like this one:



By the way, I visit Addison electronic once a year, and the deals are so good that I always spend too much money there.

Sometimes you just gotta luv Flea-Bay. My used "intake" cam arrived today and turned out to be an exhaust cam instead. Grrrr!

Tried to take measurements and get the cams out last night guys, but it looks like I'm going to have to do a little horking on my homemade cam tools before they are going to work.
