Hi all,

I've been chirping on here a bunch of times already with questions and such, and you've all been super helpful, I'm real appreciative that you've provided so many solutions for me, and so quickly.

A bit about myself, I rode dirt bikes and enduro in my youth for leisure, a 73' Yamaha 80, 81 Honda CR 80 (bored out three times and could beat a 125 off the line in a heartbeat), and I still own a blue 1975 Kawasaki KE 125 enduro with 500miles on it, which seems to sit there in a garage like an antique. I never graduated to road riding or actually having a licensed ride for anything other than off-road and dirt trails until last year. Having flirted with the idea of owning a street/tour bike since I was a kid I finally acted on it last summer when I purchased a 92' K100RS and I've been gloriously in love with it ever since.

When the season comes around, there's nothing I want to do more in this world than ride it and look after it.

So a big hello from Canada!
Cheers
Chris

Welcome aboard Chris. The riding season is just upon us. We're practically neighbours as I live in Ajax so I'll see you on the road.

Welcome aboard, Chris.

I had an '88 K100RS until I converted it into a K100RT (preferred the larger fairing for its comfort). I'm in North York so, like g35corona, we should be neighbours. Don't know whether you're aware of gtamotorcycle.com but there is a group of BMW owners that exchange on a thread in that site. They get together for regular rides throughout the riding season.

Have fun on the K100RS.

The temperature in Toronto is approaching 20 degrees. I hope you got the opportunity to ride this week end and have a big grin on your face. (I just arrived from a 450k ride).
Welcome to the forum.
