Hi All Very Happy
I've been remiss with writing an intro since I joined but I've found a few spare minutes to correct that Smile
I'm the (sometimes) proud owner of a 1984 K100 which, when I got it ( 2007) had lain basically unattended but under cover for some 9 years.
Having stripped it, cleaned it, greased/oiled it, stuck it back together, it ran and so was MOT'd , taxed and entered use in 2008 ( I think lol)
I don't think I could have done a very good job in prepping it as there always seems to be something going wrong with it or maybe I just don't treat it right or as I'd rather beleive, after sitting so long unused , there's going to be a big list of 'little' hassles to be dealt with. I've only put 6000 miles or so on her but I'm hoping I may be coming to the end of the running in period which will allow me to eventually turn my attention to cosmetic matters ( ie respray)
I'd like to thank all the members here, and the owner(s?) for providing a fantastic reference area and great guides to assist me with my past present and more than likely, future tasks on this bike
Hi from another Scottish member 502531 Here's to you all !
