which looks rather old and twisted (the manufacture date should be printed on it).

The discoloured injector is caused by a (previous?) minor leak at the o-ring.

Is the injector discolored or is it a different injector then original. I have had a few different color injectors here for cleaning. It might have been changed at some time. Also be sure if the o-ring was leaking it was replaced with one that can handle ethanol. Ethanol is destroying the old o-rings. I have replace ment o-rings avaliable for anyone removing their injectors. I also have replace ment screens avaliable. It was posted a while ago about a fuel leak from the o-rings causing a fire. So be careful and if you replace them use lube when you install them so as not to tear them.
