HELP ! After 120,000km I felt it is time to do a Cam Chain Inspection. All has gone well until I tried to pull the cover off. IT WONT MOVE ! Have removed all the allen caps , Cam Covers ,Ignition trigger but I just cant get the front cover to move. Am I missing something ?

If you removed all screws (on sides), try slowly with rubber hammer. I removed it few times like that. The sealant hold the cover.

And the seal around the crankshaft in way of the hall sensors. You took the sensors and the timing cup with angle plate off the shaft?

Reviving an old thread. I'm at the stage to remove the timing chain cover on my engine. Is it MANDATORY to replace the crank shaft seal when re-installing the cover? Or is it OPTIONAL depending on the condition of the old seal. Need to know if I will order a new seal. Also, have to devise a way to install the seal (I read that it is difficult).

It depends a bit on the age of the seal but if you can't say for sure how old it is then replacement is the way to go once you disturb them.

The seal is available from any auto parts store. Take the dimensions off the seal. I know Chicago Rawhide makes the proper seal because I had to do this in a pinch one day. It is about the easiest seal on the bike to replace so don't sweat it.
