I am working out the details of this arrangement. So, the rear disc will now be the front disc. Is there any such thing as a larger brake disc, or how would I modify a larger disc to fit the final drive?

I want to use a K100 swingarm and final drive (with pinion removed) as the swingarm on a leading link fork.

Sounds like you like to fudge things a bit. you could try using a four piston brake unit on the stock disc for alittle more pressure and stopping power but you have to go to an equivalent master to match that. Going up in size means shifting the calliper up closer to the wheel, that limitation would set you with perhaps little more than a K1100 front disc and calliper. You have to strip the rear disc housing and machine the front K1100 housing to go in place of the old K100 disc on that old housing. Stock mono was 285 and the K1100 front is 305 it may fit.

Just edited that disc size to what it should be, Taa TWB

Been thinking about this. A lot more stresses on that mounting stud up front ......assuming you mean using a Monolever and not a Paralever.

Is the bigger disk to capture some sort of look?
Once the weight transfer happens and you can start some serious front braking the back brake doesn't really need to be very powerful to lock the wheel. If you can lock the wheel why add more braking?

Per previous posts here, the final drive (along with the swingarm) would be used as the swingarm on a leading link front end. The point of the larger disc is to get more swept braking surface, with 4 or 6 pot calipers to get some serious braking for my sidecar rig.
