I'm trying to track down a company to buy a spray can of the color columbia silver code 616. I spoke to someone at color rite who said the paint can't be made anymore because of environmental issues so you can only purchase it from existing stock. Does anyone know of any companies I might be able to order it from?

Definately. Got a batch of perfectly-matched Bermuda Bronze from them last year.

Give these guys a call.  I've had good luck with them.  I don't know if they load rattle cans, but they are on our side of the pond.

You can also look for a Glasurit auto paint dealer.  They have all the BMW paint formulas, and Glasurit was the factory paint system when out bkes were built.  Most of them can load a rattle can for you as well.  Might be a little more expensive, but you won't have to pay for shipping.

Just curious, where is Bluffton?  If you are in South Carolina, BASF shows these guys as distributors for Glasurit:

Parks Auto Parts Inc
5429 Rivers Ave
North Charleston, SC 29406-6128

Give them a call to see if they can help.

You can have any color matched. You need to go to an auto body supply house where they can scan a flat part of the bike with their computer thing. It spits out a formula in whatever type of paint they can use for you.I just matched this 30 year old paint I shot on a bike I restored then just stored the bike for 30 years. It got damaged when another bike fell on to it. Here is the match. The tank is 30 years old the side cover was painter last monthColumbia silver paint Dscf0310
Columbia silver paint Dscf0412
Columbia silver paint Dscf0413
