Greetings! My name is Greg. I recently acquired an 85 k100. Haven't ridden it yet, it's my next 'project'. Am now just finishing up on an old 87 retired Albuquerque Police motorcycle that I recently brought back to life (Kawasaki kz1000p). Had been sitting out in a field for 9 years since the guy bought it from auction.

Am very excited to start on K100. The more research I do about this particular bike, the more excited i get

Lots of great info here!

Hmmm, Greg, the Ape House. The zoo. Does the compound and the casita ring any bells?

Welcome.

Welcome.

hahahaha, It rings a lot of bells! In fact, the compound is where I gained such a high respect for German engineering, and the people who love it. Hello from New Mexico Icon_biggrin

Wow, so great to bump into you here old friend! I miss those days.. the compound.. and you guys, very much.

I say one day me and you organize a trip together down south to visit Jim and his newest edition! Granted, easier for me than you..

There could only be ONE Greg swingin' with the apes at the Abq Zoo! Goodonya. How's it going, old mate? I think the last time we spoke was in '02. Phew, time's a flyin'! A K100, you won't go wrong being a member in here.

A little extra travel never hurt me. Yep, I reckon a ride to Nicaragua, to see ol' Santiago, is due. Let's take the K's.

PM me some time. I'll give you my number. Gunna be down your way late Summer. We'll catch up. Cheers.
