So, title should be changed to HERE WE GO AGAIN or You should have known from the start that you were allowed to have two motorbikes.

/sigh.

So now I have a full time naked red bike I have no need for a second.
All that work making it nekkid is being undone.
Fairing is going back on. If only I could remember how.

Can anyone tell me where this goes?
I wonder who will be first to tell me where this goes?
Under the frame and over the air box?

And most of these white bits and black bits, but not the helmet or the boots or any other non bike part you smart bastards are likely to point out.

Worked out where the big one goes.

You are a clever little bugger aren't you, now us smart bastards will sit back with a beer and watch you put your very own jigsaw puzzle back together. HINT. Real OEM is your friend 1986 K100RT ex police single seat Renno - Page 5 214585

Thanks Rick, but RealOEM makes it even more a jigsaw.

Actually looking at Maxbmw. Diagrams are easier to see.

I found one big rubber bit that sits on top of the radiator and it is listed as a radiator thermostat/ fan part. Some bits are part of the comfort spoiler, some of it is radiator trim panel and one of the same parts is on the frame diagram, another is under fuel tank and called a gasket. If you know what you are looking at there is no need for the fiche, but if you don't know what a part is how the hell do you know where to look?

Not a rant at you Rick. I have just realised the stupidity of this system of identifying parts based on location not function.

As an example, the low seat petrol tank rubber bit is listed with the petrol tank, but is obvious to anyone it is part of the seat arrangement.

and as I type I found it. Just need to work out how to get it in there now.
At least it is keeping me off the streets.

I think some of it comes from German to that stupid english translation.
like when the first settlers in Australia they asked the local natives what is that creature and got the answer kangaroo which meant in the local language "I dont understand you" and so a kangaroo it is.

Just worked out where it actually sits. Between the air box and the other air box and down near the FPR.

Think it can stay under the bench. It has been happy there for the past 11 years. No need to disturb it now.

So the bike is back off the road now that I have the /2 to ride.

Thanks to Mr Klompy's eagle eye I grabbed a 3 spoke rear wheel from an 1100.

Question is, should I get the forks/ brakes/ triple clamp from the same bike?

Guy offered me a good price.

Together with the master cylinder you would also need  the throttle/twistgrip, housing and
the throttle cable (some mod is needed to make the cable fit at the lower end).

Cheers mate, never got to shout you some beers for  my LED lights.
Thank you ebay for the flexible arm to hold my new Aldi go semipro, Im sure you'll get some good footage on the scrapheap ride through the dirty bits, it seems everyone has a camera on the ready as Gaz knows from the Nindy ride! caught giving the K75 a lie down on the roadside.
